01 Overview

The website darcus.fr is published by DARCUS, an independent private VTC driver, headquartered at 1 traverse des Remmailleuses, ZA Saint-Claude, route des Plages, 83990 Saint-Tropez, France, registered under SIRET 332 777 747 000 20, listed on the VTC register (REVTC) under number EVTC 083 240 100.

The business consists of providing a chauffeured tourism vehicle, in accordance with articles L.3120-1 et seq. of the French Transport Code.

02 Purpose

These general terms and conditions define the terms of use of the website darcus.fr and the conditions under which DARCŪS provides its passenger transport services.

Any booking implies full and complete acceptance of these terms.

03 Services

DARCŪS offers the following services:

  • Airport and heliport transfers — Nice Côte d'Azur, Toulon-Hyères, Saint-Tropez heliport
  • Full-day hire — Full day, half day, shopping, events
  • Nightlife and events — Restaurants, VIP clubs, private events
  • Inter-villa transfers — Ramatuelle, Gassin, Grimaud, Saint-Tropez peninsula
  • Long distance — Monaco, Cannes, Marseille, Paris and all of France
  • Onboard welcome — Embedded concierge service, water, press

All services are provided in a Mercedes V-Class, a premium vehicle offering comfort, space and discretion.

04 Booking

Bookings are made by phone, email, via the website contact form or by WhatsApp. Every booking is confirmed by a written reply (email or message) specifying:

  • Pick-up date and time
  • Pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Number of passengers
  • Agreed or estimated fare

The booking is considered confirmed upon client acknowledgement.

05 Pricing

Fares are provided on a quotation basis, depending on the nature of the service (distance, duration, time of day, number of passengers). All prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes.

The applicable VAT rate is 10% for transfers and 20% for full-day hire.

Tolls, parking fees and ancillary costs are included in the quotation unless otherwise stated. Any excess time or distance beyond the original quote will be subject to prior agreement.

06 Cancellation

The client may cancel or modify their booking under the following conditions:

  • More than 48 hours in advance — Free cancellation, no charge
  • Between 24 and 48 hours in advance — 50% of the total fare is due
  • Less than 24 hours in advance or no-show — 100% of the total fare is due

In accordance with article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services.

07 Waiting Time

A 15-minute waiting period is included free of charge for airport transfers (from the actual landing time of the flight). For all other pick-ups, the complimentary waiting time is 10 minutes.

Beyond this, a surcharge of €1 per minute will apply. If the client does not appear within 30 minutes of the agreed time and without prior contact, the service is considered completed and fully payable.

08 Payment

Payment is due at the end of the service, unless otherwise agreed on the quotation. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Bank transfer
  • Cash

For regular clients or corporate accounts, monthly invoicing may be arranged.

Any late payment will incur penalties in accordance with applicable legislation, following a formal demand that remains unanswered.

09 Liability

DARCŪS assumes a duty of care towards transported passengers, in accordance with VTC regulations.

The vehicle is covered by professional liability insurance protecting passengers and their personal belongings during the journey.

DARCŪS shall not be held liable in the event of:

  • Delays due to exceptional traffic conditions, roadworks, accidents or force majeure
  • Items left in the vehicle (although every effort will be made to return them)
  • Flight cancellations or schedule changes beyond our control

10 Passenger Obligations

The client agrees to:

  • Respect the vehicle and its equipment
  • Refrain from smoking on board
  • Avoid consuming food or beverages likely to soil the interior
  • Wear a seatbelt at all times
  • Provide an approved child seat for children (to be supplied by the client or upon prior request)

Any damage caused to the vehicle interior will be charged to the client. A minimum cleaning fee of €150 may be applied in the event of excessive soiling.

11 Personal Data & Privacy

Data collected (name, phone number, email, addresses) is used exclusively for managing bookings and is never shared with third parties.

In accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the client has the right to access, rectify, delete and port their personal data, upon simple request to laurentdarco.vtc@gmail.com.

Absolute discretion — The nature of journeys, the identity of passengers and any information exchanged during services are strictly confidential. DARCŪS is committed to complete discretion.

12 Intellectual Property

All elements of the website darcus.fr (texts, images, logos, graphics, visual identity) are the exclusive property of DARCŪS. Any reproduction, modification or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation, is strictly prohibited.

13 Audio & Video Recording

In accordance with VTC regulations in force since 2025, the vehicle is equipped with an audio and video recording device, activated only in the event of an incident and upon notification to passengers. This device complies with legal requirements and is not active during normal journeys.

14 Accessibility

DARCŪS is committed to making its services accessible to as many people as possible. The Mercedes V-Class offers easy access and generous space for the comfort of all passengers.

For any specific accessibility requirements (reduced mobility, special equipment), please contact us in advance so we can best adapt the service.

15 Applicable Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first.

Failing an amicable agreement within 30 days, the client may refer to the consumer mediator. The dispute may be submitted to the competent courts in the Var department (83).
